The SPARK program reveals its winning startups

The international Spark competition ended on Wednesday. The event has set itself the objective of showcasing the best participating startups to initiate digital transformation in the Kingdom.

Thus, Sobrus (1st), WeGo (2nd) and AgenZ (3rd) form the top three. The winning startups received rewarding financial rewards and will be given the opportunity to access technical and human resources, which will allow them to reach their full growth potential.

Saad Ammor, head of growth development for the startup Sobrus, winner of this edition, went well in these terms: “We are happy to participate in this program driven in particular by Huawei Morocco and Orange Morocco.

This shows that there is a momentum of digitization that is taking place in Morocco”. Note that this startup is one of the players who embarked on the digitization of the health sector quite early since they have been present since 2011 through cloud solutions for pharmacists, pharmaceutical laboratories and wholesale distributors.

“These solutions above all make it possible to equip pharmacists so that they can manage their daily tasks from start to finish”, affirms our interlocutor.

And to add that “today, we equip more than one out of three pharmacies in Morocco. This allows us to largely digitize this ecosystem, in particular everything related to the online ordering process”. The Moroccan edition of this leading program is dedicated to national startups that operate in the field of new technologies (AI, Connectivity, Cloud, etc.). It was developed by Huawei Cloud and supported by the Moroccan government, with the participation of several Huawei partners such as Technopark, AUSIM, MAScIR, Orange, ADD, MNF and SMIT.
