Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: towards a return to reason for the selfie sensor?

Like many manufacturers, Samsung has embarked on a real race for megapixels on their smartphones. Things should not calm down for the main sensor of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, some sources mention a resolution of 200 MP, it could on the other hand be the case with the front camera.

A 12 MP front sensor on the Galaxy S23 Ultra?

Our colleagues on the site GalaxyClub explain that the flagship of the range will be satisfied with a 12 MP sensor while the Ultra variants have been adopting a 40 MP camera for several years. It’s no secret, the the quality of the photos is not correlated with the resolutionthat is why one can always expect very good results.

In addition to the photo part, previous disclosures around the S23 Ultra indicate the presence of a 6.8-inch screen with a definition of 1,440 x 3,088 pixels. There is also talk of a 5000 mAh battery of typical capacity, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor (for all versions). And its dimensions of 163.4 × 78.1 × 8.9 mm would be comparable to those of the S22 Ultra that it will replace.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected in early February.
