Samsung Galaxy S23: a presentation on February 1, 2023?

The Unpacked event (Samsung’s announcement keynote) is set to be held live from the US and would be Samsung’s first physical conference since the Covid-19 pandemic. The S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra should arrive on merchant shelves a little later, 15 days after their formalization. Once again, Samsung therefore seems to be slaloming between the announcements of the CES in Las Vegas (which is held in January) and those of the Mobile World Congress (which is held at the end of February) to create its own media bubble rather than sharing those of dozens of other manufacturers.

Already known features

For those who have been following the rumors closely, Samsung’s announcements shouldn’t hold many surprises. The family of high-end phones from the Korean manufacturer has been the subject of countless leaks for months now and the sketch of the S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra is now quite accurate. The look of the mobiles should not change much compared to that of the S22, the photographic component should experience small improvements and the future top of the range which should finally ship a Snapdragon chip in Europe instead of the Exynos.

February 1 should therefore allow Samsung to unveil the price of its high-end mobiles which will position themselves as direct competitors of the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro. With the wave of announcements expected at Mobile World Congress a few weeks later, the start of 2023 promises to be eventful.
