Samsung could end the Galaxy A7x and revamp its mid-range offer

High-end smartphones represent only a small percentage of sales for Samsung, which relies significantly more on its Galaxy A to remain market leader. This series has many models, including the Galaxy A3x and A5x, which are among the best value for money from the manufacturer. Their technical sheet is also quite close – and probably a little too much – to that of the Galaxy A73, which the South Korean has chosen not to market in France.

The Galaxy Club site explains that this Galaxy A73 could be the last of its kind. While the other Galaxy Ax4s have already leaked, the Galaxy A74 is very discreet. Too much for an exit to remain possible. The Galaxy A54 will thus become the best-equipped version of the range. However, we advise to take this information with a grain of salt, since the South Korean could still choose to reserve it for certain markets.

Strategic repositioning

The information may seem strange at first glance. Indeed, withdrawing models from the best-selling range seems risky. But the Galaxy A72 and A73 have already been marginalized in Samsung’s catalog, which revealed their availability in various markets last year.

Affordable models becoming ever more important, the firm could operate a shift making the Galaxy A34 a real mid-range tenor. The Galaxy A54 thus integrated more innovations and worked better the link with the Galaxy S.
