Realme 10s smartphone: 5G for less than €200

If Realme has still not given any news of the launch of its 10 series in France, expected logically at the beginning of next year, the Chinese brand continues to expand this range. It presents, still in China, a 10s version of the smartphone presented at the entry level.

A classic model if ever there was one, the Realme 10s has a 6.6-inch screen with Full HD + and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Under its hood, we find the Dimensity 810 chip from MediaTek, recently seen in the Oppo A77. This chipset, of which we especially remember the 5G compatibility, is here accompanied by 8 GB of RAM. There is also a storage of 128 to 256 GB, expandable via a microSD card, chosen increasingly rare. Like the vast majority of its competitors, the 10s is also equipped with a 5000 mAh battery compatible with charging at 33 W.

On the multimedia side, the Realme 10s opts for simplicity by betting on a double back module comprising a 50-megapixel main sensor with wide-angle optics (f / 1.8) and a 0.3 Mpx depth sensor. On the front, an 8 Mpx sensor is dedicated to selfies. Let’s add the presence of a fingerprint reader on the edge of the device, a mini-jack socket and software based on Android 12, and the snapshot on a smartphone that is certainly not surprising, but whose price turns out to be interesting: it is announced from 1099 yuan, or around €150 excluding taxes. What to hope for a launch at less than 200 € in our regions.
