The Find N2 and N2 Flip are to OPPO what the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4 are to Samsung. The first takes the form of a smartphone capable of deploying to become a tablet.

With its 233 grams on the scale, the Find N2 with vegan leather covering is the lightest foldable smartphone on the market. It is also one of the finest with only 14.6 mm when closed.

After a successful Find N, OPPO has further improved the hinge to open and close the smartphone. Smaller, thinner and more robust, the carbon fiber mechanism (also used for the internal screen) is associated with materials used in aeronautics. 100 components are necessary for the proper functioning of the system. Result, the fold in the middle of the screen (67% wider) is almost invisible and does not feel when you slide your finger there.

The 5.54” external screen, integrated with a 47% reduced frame achieves a brightness of 1,350 nits. The 7.1” interior screen reaches 1,550 nits. Both screens feature a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Find N2 Flip is a foldable smartphone in the clamshell format. At the step of the Galaxy Z Flip4, it has an external screen allowing to display contextual information and to interact punctually. This is the largest external screen on the market on a CE type smartphone (3.26”).

But it is especially the 6.8 ” interior screen, AMOLED LTPO technology that impresses the most. It displays content in Full HD with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. HDR10+ compatible, it can reach a brightness of 1,600 nits.

The Find N2 Flip features the same 2nd generation hinge as the Find N2.

The Find N2 is the more capable of OPPO’s two new foldable smartphones. It is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip from Qualcomm® (engraved in 4 nm) and comes with 12 or 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM depending on the version as well as 256 or 512 GB of internal memory.

The Find N2 Flip is more modest and embeds a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chip, also engraved in 4 nm. It also comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage memory.

The smartphones run on ColorOS 13.0, the OPPO overlay adapted to Android 13.

What autonomy for the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip?

The Find N2 has a 4,520 mAh battery comparable to that of the Galaxy Z Fold4 or the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2. On the other hand, OPPO accompanies it with a 67W SuperVOOC ultra-fast charging system. It is able to recharge the Find N2 to 37% in just 10 minutes and to 100% in 47 minutes promises the brand.

The Find N2 Flip has a 4,300 mAh battery and comes with a SuperVOOC charger delivering 44W of power. It is capable of recharging the Find N2 Flip up to 34% in 15 minutes and 100% in 57 minutes. Who says better ?

What photo equipment for the Find N2 and Find N2 Flip?

On the photo side, the Find N2 is also more muscular than the Find N2 Flip. It has a triple module composed of:

  • a wide-angle lens (f/1.8) with 50 Mpxl (1/1.56”) Sony IMX890 sensor and optical stabilization
  • an ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2) with 48 Mpxl (1/2”) Sony IMX581 sensor
  • a telephoto lens (f/2) with 32 Mpxl (1/2.74”) Sony IMX709 RGBW sensor

This arsenal is completed by a front sensor of 32 Mpxl (1 / 3.14 ”) and a wide-angle lens (f / 2.4).

The Find N2 Flip only has two sensors in addition to the front camera, more muscular than that of the Find N2 (32 Mpxl 1 / 2.74 ” sensor and f / 2.4 wide-angle lens). We thus find the same main sensor as that of the Find N2 accompanied by a second sensor of 8 Mpxl (1/4 ”) with ultra wide-angle lens (f / 2.2).
