OPPO has rolled out ColorOS 13 update based on Android 13. OPPO has officially announced that its new ColorOS 13 operating system version has rolled out faster than any previous version.
OPPO has also expanded its update policy for ColorOS to guarantee four major Android upgrades with five years of security patches for select flagship models from 2023.
ColorOS 13 is OPPO’s latest operating system based on Android. Designed for simplicity and comfort, ColorOS 13 features an ergonomic design, intelligent interconnectivity, and an overall performance boost for an easier day-to-day life. It includes a series of impressive features such as Smart AOD, Multi-Screen Connect, and Home Screen Management that enable smart and user-friendly experiences for users around the world.
Its launch As of August 18, 2022, ColorOS 13 has shipped to 33 smartphone models worldwide, making it the fastest and largest update in its history. In the same four-month period following their official release, more than 50% of models were compatible with ColorOS 13 (data from August 18 to December 18, 2022) compared to ColorOS 12 (data from October 11, 2021 to February 11, 2022 ). There were thus 3 times more users covered during the global rollout of ColorOS 13 compared to ColorOS 12 during the same period.
OPPO also announced its new ColorOS update policy.
