OnePlus should soon launch its OnePlus Buds Pro 2. Designed in partnership with Dynaudio, these headphones would benefit from Hi-Res Audio Wireless compatibility thanks to the LDAC or LHDC codec.
While OnePlus announced this week the presentation date of its next high-end smartphone, the OnePlus 11, we know more about the pair of headphones that should accompany the premium smartphone. OnePlus should indeed take advantage of the launch of its OnePlus 11 on February 7 to unveil its next high-end wireless headphones, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
These new wireless headphones were unsurprisingly to take over from the OnePlus Buds Pro, initially launched in the summer of 2021. They could also take up a design language quite similar to the first iteration with a matte shell on most of the surface. exterior, but a shiny rod at its tip. A choice that would bring some continuity to the range of wireless headphones from OnePlus, so far rather heterogeneous.
On Wednesday, December 21, Indian leaker Abhshek Yadav uploaded a photo of the headphones’ packaging and case. What allow to discover some of their characteristics.

Thus, the headphones will be compatible with the Hi-Res Audio Wireless standard, which implies that the headphones will be compatible with the LDAC codec or the LHDC codec. Remember that the Hi-Res Audio Wireless logo does not require, like Hi-Res Audio, an audio stream in 24 bits at 192 kHz, but simply in 24 bits at 96 kHz.
A partnership with Dynaudio… like Oppo
In addition, the logo on the box reveals that the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 were developed in partnership with Dynaudio. The Danish, already a partner manufacturer of the Oppo cousin brand, therefore now seems to be working in close collaboration with OnePlus for the development of the acoustic systems – and probably the transducers – of its OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
On the Chinese social network Weibo, other photos of the headphones were published this Wednesday, always with the same olive green color. If there seems to be no doubt as to the date of presentation of the headphones, we still do not know at what price they will be offered.
Remember that the first OnePlus Buds Pro, launched in August 2021, were offered, at the time of their announcement, at a price of 149 euros. We can therefore expect, for this new generation, a price lower than 200 euros.
