The Teams messaging and video meeting app now comes in a version optimized for Macs with an M1 chip. Microsoft has taken its time to adapt its software, which until now has worked through the Rosetta 2 translation mill. A banking crutch for many users who have been complaining about it for months on the Teams community forum .
However, this new universal version of Teams is only available in beta at the moment, so caution is essential, especially if the software is used in a productive setting – which it generally is. However, users should enjoy a performance boost.
You can download the beta by downloading from this address (this is the direct link). If not, the next public preview of the software is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday April 26, follow here.
