Apple is working on the products that make the news in 2023. According to Mark Gurman, the MacBook Pro will be the main attraction.
Apple launched many products in 2022. Among them, the Mac Studio and its monitor, Studio Display, caused a lot of ink to flow. The apple brand could continue with this decision for 2023 and continue with external screens. According to the latest information gathered by Mark Gurman, journalist for Bloomberg and expert from the Cupertino company, several monitors are in preparation in Apple Park.
Apple is working on an update to its Pro Display XDR released in 2019 with the Mac Pro. Ross Young, another reputable Apple analyst, confirms this idea and assures that the next Pro Display XDR should be a 27-inch monitor equipped with Mini-LED technology.
MacBook Pros to mark 2023?
In addition to these screens which are likely to make them arrive quite early in the year, Apple is working on new MacBook Pros for 2023. In the latest edition of its “Power On” newsletter, Mark Gurman explains the brand’s plans to the apple. Very close to Apple’s supply chain, the journalist predicts the arrival of two new laptops for mid-2023.
During the last edition of WWDC, in June, Apple had already made the move by marketing the MacBook Pro and Air M2. A similar announcement could therefore be on the program for 2023. For the coming year, however, Apple would be working on an update for the 14 and 16-inch models.
Apple: iMac, Mac Pro and Mac mini, yes, but when?
First released with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips in November 2021, the devices have not been updated at the end of the year. In addition to these laptops, Apple could take advantage of 2023 to update its range with regard to “professional” devices.
The iMac is one of the devices to follow this year. According to Gurman, a new version of the computer equipped with the M3 chip is expected for “the end of the year 2023 at the earliest”. The Mac Pro and the iMac Pro, which have not yet been entitled to a switch to Apple Silicon chips, are still two products under study on the Cupertino side, but Mark Gurman gave no timetable for these products. .
The Mac mini, long in the small papers of Apple also seems to have passed into the background. The device should be entitled to an update with the M2 chip, but no analyst has yet given a timetable for the small fixed computer from Apple.
