Lenovo releases a greener ‘Mac mini’ than Apple’s

Lenovo is also preparing for its CES 2023 and has planned to mark the occasion by announcing many products a few weeks before the show. Among others, a mini PC was presented: the IdeaCentre Mini, with an elegant design, which fits in a volume of one litre. Above all, it is possible to change the RAM.

The mini PC market is doing well, with several new models in recent months. If the reference remains the Mac Mini M1, on one entitled to the PC under ARM from Microsoft, to the NUC 13 Extreme from Intel (although there is not much of a mini PC left) as well as to the Xiaomi mini a few days ago. It’s Lenovo’s turn to update its mini PC, the IdeaCentre Mini, as CES 2023 approaches, where it will be presented to the world. In addition to this computer, Lenovo is updating its ThinkPad X1 range with two new references as well as its PC screens with some technological innovations.

The latest generation of Intel Core processors and more

Lenovo made the logical choice to equip its new fixed computer with the twelfth generation of Intel Core processors, the latest to date. In terms of connectivity, this fixed PC has Wi-Fi 6 for optimal speeds, as well as Bluetooth 5.2. It will ship with Windows 11 Pro in some markets, or Windows 11 Home.

A design and elegant passe-partout

With its small size, this mini PC can be installed anywhere, even on a corner of the desk, the proof: it fits in one hand. Its weight is also quite reduced since it is 1.81 kg. It can be installed both horizontally and vertically, thanks to the metal support provided.

On the back of the machine are an RJ45 Ethernet port, three USB-A ports (two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and one USB 2.0), a USB-C Thunderbolt 4 port, an HDMI 2.1 port and a DisplayPort port. On the front was a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, a USB-C port and a headphone jack.

This mini PC from Lenovo will be available in July 2023 from 599 euros for the lowest configuration.
