Oppo unveils a limited edition of its Reno 8 Pro, but not with any license: it is the “House of the Dragon” series, which tells the origins of the great families of “Game of Thrones”.
Smartphone manufacturers regularly offer limited editions of their flagship models, such as the Galaxy S22 with Diablo Immortal or the GT Neo 3 branded Naruto, both released in recent months. It’s Oppo’s turn to land with its limited edition Reno 8 Pro House of the Dragon. Bad luck for France, it is only available on the Indian market. We don’t even know the price or the release date of this special edition.
A shell of the Reno 8 Pro that does not go into preview
If the Oppo Reno 8 Pro remains the same, whether on the design or the components, it is the accessories that relate to the series Dragon House, broadcast on the SVoD platform OCS. Everything is delivered in a beautiful black cardboard box which presents all the objects as well as the Oppo smartphone.

The most important is undoubtedly the hull, on which we see the coat of arms of the Targaryen house in gold, one of the main ones in the universe of the series. All affixed to a shell like scales of Balerion, alias The Black Terror.
Accessories that inspire
Among the other accessories, there is the key to the SIM drawer, which is no longer a vulgar piece of gray metal, but indeed a ferocious golden dragon. The pack also includes a phone ring, also golden, with a dragon emblem that “straight from the Vault of the Targaryens“.

Beyond the smartphone accessories, we are also entitled to a golden key ring (also), representing a three-headed dragon, as well as a message with a seal, which contains a handwritten proclamation from King Viserys I Targaryen.

Finally, the box contains “the next dragon’s egg», a small golden egg to display, to show that it is you who watches over the most powerful treasure of the Seven Kingdoms.
