Miss Agricultural 2023 was elected Saturday, December 17, 2022 among the 20 candidates who received the most “likes” on their Facebook post. This is Pauline Pradier, 31, winemaker in the Gard.
With over 2,600 likes collected on his application, Andréa Catherine, farmer in Bessin, had reached the final of the competition.
A Facebook contest intended to highlight the women and men who practice agriculture in France.
After posing as the face of the month of January for the sexy Belles des Prés 2022 calendar, Andréa Catherine, 24, a farmer in Ryes (Calvados), had launched a new challenge. The one who brings back the Miss France Agricultural 2023 scarf.
“I am happy to have taken part in this competition”, confides Andréa Catherine the day after the verdict.
It’s always a new experience! I am absolutely not disappointed, on the contrary. I am happy for those who were elected. I don’t think I’ll take my chance next year, but it was a good experience.
Show that women are there

If the young woman had “never dared to participate in this competition before”, she is not a beginner on the web. Influencer on Instagram and TikTok, she shares with nearly 40,000 subscribers his daily life on the farm and his passion for his profession. Andréa Catherine also sees the opportunity to denounce a priori.
“More and more women are farmers, but there is still a lot of prejudice that they are as capable as men of farming.”
