Elon Musk believes that all of Tesla’s competitors will soon go bankrupt

Elon Musk is categorical: it’s only a matter of time before all car manufacturers go bankrupt… except Tesla, of course. The billionaire even ventures to say that their end will come “sooner than they think”. The opportunity to recall that the latter has been prophesying the end of the automotive industry for years already.

When he is not wondering whether or not he should stay at the head of Twitter, Elon Musk continues to improvise oracle of the automotive industry. It’s an old catchphrase from the billionaire: according to him, all car manufacturers, except Tesla for some obscure reason, are heading straight for inevitable bankruptcy. No one is surprised, therefore, when the latter repeats this speech again on his favorite social network.

This Saturday, December 17, videographer Farzad Mesbahi tweeted the following sentence: Everyone’s focused on the Tesla stock price, while most other automakers are on the verge of bankruptcy. » It did not take more to invoke the genius Elon Musk, who hastened to respond: “Much sooner than they think.” It’s cold in the back.

Elon Musk persists and signs on the end of the automotive industry

It would be an understatement to say that this is not the first time that Elon Musk has made this kind of statement. Just last week, the latter also claimed that Lucid, Tesla’s direct competitor (so it’s not a question of electric vs thermal cars), would soon go bankrupt, stating that its employees are “notnot made for this world“.

Ironically, Tesla itself has been on the verge of bankruptcy several times. A situation that has been repeated over time, until this year which dealt a lasting blow to the company’s finances. At the beginning of May, Elon Musk even admitted that “the prospect of bankruptcy cannot be excluded”. In other words, Elon Musk’s predictions look very much like mere marketing stunts.
