After the games, Netflix wants to keep its subscribers and draw others with… fitness. From December 30, certainly to accompany the good resolutions that last two days, the streaming platform will offer Nike Training Club workouts. A total of 30 hours of video exercises will be posted online, in two batches.
The first package will include episodes for beginners, high intensity exercises (HIT), yoga, abs… 46 episodes in all. The second batch will fall sometime next year. To take advantage of it, all you have to do is subscribe to Netflix, no need to subscribe to an additional option.
The idea is rather good given the time of year. Above all, these workouts could be enough for the greatest number who will not have to take out an Apple Fitness+ or Peloton subscription. In addition, you can do without an Apple Watch or an indoor cycle, but competing offers also play on the integration between hardware and software.
This news reminds us that there was a time not so long ago when Apple worked very closely with Nike. In 2006 there was the famous Nike + iPod kit to slip into the shoe, then more recently the Apple Watch Nike collection with exclusive bracelets and dials (these are now available for all models).
